Firefighting for the Future
The Eastland-Fairfield career center is a unique opportunity for students in local high schools to explore career options. Students can gain experience they’ll need in their place of work after high school. One of these career center programs is the firefighting program where students are getting real life experience and training to become firefighters right after high school From rescuing weighted dummies to getting hands on experience on real fire trucks, these students are getting to learn it all. Our Ava Miller took a look inside the sights and sounds of this not-so-typical classroom.
